Birthday Cake | Momma Post

My kids are the best! I am celebrating my 32nd birthday this year and I love to have strawberry cake with the confetti icing ~ it brings out the kid in me I guess! But if I don't get cake, it's not "a necessity", I just like it. My kids on the other hand, in particular my son, felt that I was not going to have my birthday without cake! He kept asking, when is my party going to start?! I love him! I was trying to explain that eating lunch out together was a party enough for me, and he looked thoroughly disappointed. So on the way home we stopped by the grocery store and grabbed the ingredients, went home, and I let the kids make it. They love projects in the kitchen, cracking eggs on the floor and mixing up desserts! I'm so thankful my kids love me the way they do ~
