Buttons is not as excited about the camera as his friend Mr. Perkins was! So, with the help of all three of my kiddos, who were so eager to hold, cuddle, and love on him, we managed to get some great shots of him! He is a rescue cat with The Cat's Meow Rescue, and looking for someone loving to adopt him. He has plenty of love to give and share, gets along with children, other cats, and my dogs. If you are wanting two, he gets along with Mr. Perkins just great, the two of them play around all day!

Mr. Perkins is looking for his "fur"ever home! He is a rescue with The Cat's Meow Rescue, who I've had the pleasure of "cat sitting" for about two weeks. He has been wonderful around my kiddos, my dogs, loves to play, and hang about the house... He is a polydactyl cat, which means he has an extra toe on each of his feet! Look at the last picture, he is amazing! He loves to sit daily on my little studio set up, so that tells you he's not shy!

Another stray cat has found his way to our home. They know I have a soft spot for them, and will go in the hole getting them food and shelter. I took this guy's portraits to find him a home. Can you believe within 24 hours he had a new home! Sometimes professional 'Petraits' (my new pet and portrait combo word) can help an animal find a 'fur'ever home!

*And yes, I know these words are not in the dictionary!

 

 

 

 

Couple of Cute (Almost grown) Kittens that came to our home!

These two came up to our home at the end of 2013. We couldn't take them to the shelter, my heart just felt they would be put to sleep, and they were too beautiful for that to happen. I kept calling local pet stores to see if they took cats, and one of them pointed me to The Cat's Meow Rescue. I'm so thankful for their help. My children named them King, and Prince. I suppose their names fit perfectly, cause once they came into the house, they acted like spoiled royalty! But they were very loving as well. Glad we had time with them, and extremely happy they found a forever home!
